There maybe not be stranger bedfellows on any railroad in the world... FEF3 844 and DD40X 6936. Notice that 844 has its smokebox door removed as part its regular maintenance.
A very unqine GP40; note how sections of the plow have been cut out. This allows the engine to fit pass the third-rail on the Hudson line and into New York City.
