I really liked these hybrids. Odd that they had about the only dynamic brakes on the railroad until the SD-40-2s came along.

Conrail finally figured it out, railroad-wise and paint scheme-wise and of course they went away. The sill stripe made the paint job.

Look after Uncle Pete got his mitts on this fine railroad this unit's "between scheme" has faded to something other than Armour Yellow.

So common in those days on class ones but but always sporting some little "touches" on UP this is a well used unit, soon to be gone from this roster.
