I found that there was no battery in my Canon EOS camera when I have already reached the location of today's railfanning... Back to a year ago - Canon S2 IS in charge...
Every times I visit this location, I shot EMD G26CU. However this is the first time I shot with sun light and my Canon EOS 40D.
I love taking this kind of shots but I hate EMU blocked me all the times and make me even cannot see what locomotive is heading!! Lucky this time the EMU departs just at the right time!!

Morning Mail VF05 again with 2 EMD Low Hood Units ! The locomotives were just in lit few seconds before I shot .

Thanks Dave for edition . MTR 62 is a switcher but today it moved to main line service and headed the VF05 . It should be a test run of MTR 62 after refurbished . Nicely painted EMD !!
After 2 days of 30min early , VF08 returns to 30min late today with 2 EMDs heading .
The KCR Logos will be removed anytime within the coming 3 weeks . I can finally shot the short hood Peter Quick !
The two EMDs of train X908 are now running back to the locomotive running shed . KCR Logos are still here on those MTR EMDs .
On the A-Day , the Last Operation Day of Kowloon-Canton Railway , KCR uses KCR 61 and KCR 56 to hual the last KCR X905 . I have never shot both low nose and LHF KCR 56 for this train before ! Than... (more)
