An empty CN oil train is seen here passing under a very desolate I-69 on its way into Memphis, being led by CN 3109, KCS 4860, KCS 5000 and KCS 5015.

Still boasting the Heritage 1 paint scheme, BNSF 966 leads Z-194 through Savage, MS on its was to Jackson where the train will be split before continuing to New Orleans.

The colors on the trees are as plentiful as the colors on this locomotive consist. A KCS, BNSF and 4 CN units led this manifest train out of Memphis headed south.

The cotton is plentiful and ready to be harvested in the Mississippi Delta. Quite a beautiful sight as the trees have a hint of changing colors.

UP 4014 began its morning in Poplar Bluff, MO showing off its power and beauty as it left for its destination of St. Louis.

Here's another shot of KCS 4006 leading CN A488 on Labor Day weekend.

To my surprise today while driving home, I managed to catch KCS 4006 leading a CN manifest bound for Mobile, AL.

The line of cars following beside (and behind) UP 4014 Saturday goes as far as the eye can see in this photo of the Big Boy rolling across the St. Francis River.

Having gotten a new camera body, I was happy to break it in with the UP 4014 Big Boy to see what kind of picture quality I was going to get. I'm very happy with the Canon 5DSR.
