GNRR rolls through Nelson, GA on a relatively rare night-time run.

With 9,600 horsepower and 32 grain hoppers, a welcome weekend train on my local shortline. The leader is ex-NW 2708, exx-NKP 708. Unfortunately, the 8705 has since received a nose job.

GNRR 8705 basks in the afternoon sun outside of the Georgia Northeastern's shops in the quite town of Tate.

The northbound train to Tate is rockin' & rollin' through an old industrial part of Canton on a dreary winters afternoon.

In a light rain storm, the northbound freight to Tate passes grain train power left on the siding at Holly Springs waiting for Pilgrims Pride to finish unloading.
