The Cochella Valley Special was run by the Pacific Railroad Society and is seen at Alhambra station picking up passengers. Train was a day trip out to Indio and back to LA.

The "San Joaquin Daylight" has just passed the summit on its eastbound trip over the Tehachapi mountains with the Monolith cement plant seen in the distance.
