With an E9 and two E7B's, SP's eastbound "Golden State" Train 2 steps along smartly at Olga, Ariz. on Sept. 8, 1964.

With three F units, SP hustles Mail Train 39 westward at Tully, Ariz. on Sept. 9, 1964 as a storm brews behind it. The train was received from the Rock Island at Tucumcari, N.M.

With an E9 and two E7B units, the 17 car eastbound Golden State sprints at track speed across Arizona about 62 miles east of Tucson at Tully siding.

SP's Coastal mail Train 154 is "eastbound" (southbound) at Narlon en route L.A. on Oct. 19, 1964. A single rider coach is on the rear.
