While a clear signal beckons a southbound hot intermodal train on the mainline, a clean repainted MAC awaits its next job with a load of crossties in the Roanoke siding.

After a day of unloading crossties, a couple of EMDs cool off in the Roanoke siding on a cold night. Tomorrow will be another day with the same duties until all the ties have been removed.

Time for some replacements.... Paint spots sporadically line the rail indicating that the crossties beneath them are due to be replaced with new ones.
