Once a common site, NS is now one of the few railroads to continue using camp car trains to house MOW gangs. Intermodal train 216 passes on a quiet Sunday evening.
Q172 runs a couple times a week as an advanced section of Q174, the daily Jacksonville-New York intermodal. Today, Q172 accelerates out of Charleston, SC with 5000' of single stacked intermodal.
