Rare on the L&N this is even more out of place in SC, good paint job is probably rarest of all.
Nearly new and already acquiring a CRR patina, known to the less sophisticated as grime.
As Steve Irwin would say "Ain't she a little beauty"? These didn't last long with original engines after this.

Now that's patina, known as dust to the nonartistic! I think it's Sevier Yard but not 100% sure.
Now this was a find on the C&O, one in a million, the million GP-40s and GP-9s or so it seemed.
