Another empty reposition train navigates the grade and horseshoe curve before crossing Stenner Creek. UP 1989, in Rio Grande gold is in the 2nd position.

The oil cans make a daylight climb around the horseshoe curve, up the cuesta grade. Twice this year, i've been treated to former SP power bookending this classic coastline train.
