The Grand Canyon Ltd is about to duck under the US 93 overpass near Flores AZ, which is between Congress and Matthie. The 3751 has picked up some dirt along the way which adds to the scene.

This is the ATSF 3751 special train headed south from the Grand Canyon with the GCR 4960 on the point.

UP Special is going past the former SP station that is now a Mexican restaurant. The Phoenix Metro light rail tracks are to the right.

Once again CPR 8171 has run over a derail and is waiting for help to get back on the track.

A "dummy" wheelset is being installed to replace a bad set that had a burned out bearing.

A "Hot Box" on a C44-9W....good thing the detector caught this before anything bad happened! Wheel set is being changed out by Hulcher and BNSF people.
