By 1 PM, 16 hours after the wreck, CSX was able to open one of the 3 mainline tracks. Some trains detoured via the NS Lake District during the blockage.

Crews from Winters Rigging assisted CSX in clearing the derailed 31 cars.

On the evening of 6/21, westbound Q351 derailed 31 cars just north of Lake Ave. To the left is part of Q351 still on the track and to the right a CSX work train.
