The inbound Saluki hits the hump in the St. Charles Air Line that helps it clear Canal Street, which in turn is over the Canal Street Wye. Below, a Metra train awaits the afternoon rush.

Running ahead of the IC Football Special, Amtrak 57 leads the southbound Saluki 391 through Clifton, IL.

The outbound Saluki departs Homewood on-time on it's way to Carbondale Il while a NS train continues it's switching down at Markham Yard.
