A westbound CSX train on the Indianapolis line heads past the signals that protect the diamonds by Marion Union Station.
NS 850 pulls its coal loads though Marion on the NS Sandusky line, while another railfan takes his shot from the Erie caboose that sits on the Union Station grounds.
A GP38-2 and an Erie caboose sit all alone on the east end of Marion yard.
NS 305 had a head start leaving Columbus, but I managed to beat him to Marion by at an hour. I guess he tried to trick me into thinking he passed through town already..
Q636-16 left Columbus at around the same time I did this afternoon, but I beat it to this spot with a few minutes to spare, as he continues heading West on the CSX Columbus sub.
