Union Pacific WP 1983 makes a brief appearance at West Colton. As I took this it was being readied to return to Northern California, as usual it was mid-consist!
An uncommon site almost anywhere. Two Cotton Belt engine, one unpatched followed by a unpatched SP unit in the W.C. Yard.

As one train comes in on the Palmdale Cutoff from Mojave, another comes in on the balloon track from Yuma, AZ as some light power is shuffled in the yard.
A BNSF crew awaits thru turn to return from West Colton to San Bernardino. The crew is catching up on some reading it appears.
UP power is serviced at West Colton. Former SDP45 2768 is even in the mix.
