Just another stealth unit awaiting a call.

Originally from the Chessie System, now equipped with radio control and economy air conditioning (a white roof) this unit is serving as a yard switcher.

Just like older humans, reduced to yard service. This one began on L&N. Note the builders plate intact and an older type headlight housing.

The pumpkins were pretty neat. The lineage is something like this ACL>SCL>SBD>CSX.

Many shortlines have needed the "OUCH" reporting marks but the Ouachita Railroad has them. The 1200 HP EMD roadswitcher was not accepted in the US but fortunately we now have a few of these nice ... (more)

Yeah, it's BNSF, but it doesn't say so and it on the Gulf Coast, where it shouldn't be, which is neat. This one used to be in "Kodachrome", see elsewhere on this site.
