In the endless parade of trains around Horseshoe Curve another westbound freight grinds up the eastern slope of the Alleghenies with an SD-45 and SD-40 shoving hard on the cabin car.

The New York Central had 16 Lima 1200 H.P. road switchers. Two were rebuilt with EMD 1200 H.P. 12-567C engines in 1957. The 8062 and 8063 made it into the Penn Central era.
