The fireman appears to have the firing valve open about as far as it will go to keep steam pressure up. This line climbs to about 13,000 feet above sea level.
The regular train has just left Esquel, and is headed north to El Maiten and eventually the Ing. Jacobacci connection with the broad gauge to Buenos Aires.
