Oops! An errant box car has wedged itself into the side of a Rio Grande SW1200 near the wye at Roper Yard in South Salt Lake. Perhaps a steel chain and careful maneuvering will take care of it.

Things appear to be more Rio Grande than Southern Pacific at the old D&RGW Roper Yard in South Salt Lake. The big takeover by the Union Pacific is about 2-1/2 years away.
