A dramatic early morning shot of Erie-Lackawanna power on a B&M freight at the old Hoosac Tunnel. We had heard of foreign power on the Mechanicville to Boston run. Now we knew it was real.

Color faded locomotive blends well with fall colors. This particular SW was in service out of East Deerfield from the 60s to the 80s.
