KCS Local in Monroe LA does work around the yard as traffic was at a very dull moment in the area for hours on the KCS Meridian Speedway Division between Mississppi & Western Louisiana.
Arkansas Louisiana & Mississippi Rail road AKA ALM local delivers their freight to KCS in Monroe LA & Picks up after to head back across town.
ALM 1815 pulls forward towards the KCS yard to interchange some cars.
NS 1071 leads the OSJEP-05 just south of Monroe, LA as it heads north. This route has many curves.
You won't find anything here anymore except a couple of interchange tracks. This was a prosperous down-home little operation.
Odd name for this little shortline but you see Louisiana, MO is the name of a town on the Mississippi River and when they were building it........ Well, you had to be there.

KCS train has just crossed the Ouachita River in Monroe on it's way to Shreveport La.
A 2nd section of the Atlanta to Los Angeles glides down the siding at Magenta on its way to Monroe Yard.
BNSF 4028 leads the CLAT stack train into the west end of KCS Monroe Yard.
