Metra 142 ducks under the recently opened bike path overpass in Lombard. This path runs along the now long-gone mainline of the Chicago Great Western.

A CNW freight with a pooled UP C40-8, and Conrail SD60 haul a fast freight towards Proviso yard through Lombard.
SD40-2's from CNW and Conrail lead the K-Line stack train west through Lombard. It will be handed over to UP at Fremont where it will continue to the west coast.
