A pair of old school workhorses take a break, coupled nose-to-nose, in front of the Dupo yard tower. If you look closely, you can see the Yardmaster walking around in the tower.
A good ole snoot is leading this mismatched lashup which also included a former MRL SD40. This train was just north of the yard tower.
Early on Thanksgiving morning this veteran UP SD60 with its train sits just north of the tower while a coal train prepares to depart behind it.
This crew rushes to get their train put together under the increasingly threatening sky. They would finish their work just as the severe weather came through.
A sickly GE (literally, this thing sounded like a Toyota running on two cylinders) and a SD70M are on the point of this short manifest (18x16) waiting for a signal out of Dupo.
