Deep in the canyons of Lorestan, a Siemens loco (cousin to the SC44) hauls a long-distance passenger train. The rock formations offered just a peek-a-boo view of this stone viaduct.

Not often photographed was the prairie-like scenery at the western end of the JiTong Railway. A single 2-10-2 was enough for the light grades on this section.
