A few times a week you get an NS local job between Hinman Yard in Battle Creek and the Grand Elk, Gerhart Yard in Kalamazoo. Its kind of cool seeing freight under the old M.C. Coaling Tower.

Local led by GP38-2 & GP15-1 struggle to get their 20+ car train up the hill past a recently plowed field. Normally this train is a push-pull with 3-7 cars. Today they need both engines pulling
