This view shows the side view of the cab end of the locomotive. Originally equipped with two cab ends, Milwaukee Road boarded up one end making the Little Joes operational from one end only.

Two Milwaukee Road time freights meet in front of the yard office in Avery. Train 261 is about to cut off its Little Joe helper after crossing St. Paul Pass, while a 264 waits to depart eastward.
