A pair of GLC geeps bring the mixed southbound freight past Prior Road.
After a 2 1/2 hour wait in the yard for 3 other trains, the GLC OSTN finally escapes the trap that is Durand Yard and runs south with a short train against a strong setting sun.
With the tail end of their train clearing the CN mainline, this extra GLC southbound grain train begins the throttle up and push plumes of black exhaust into the sky as they head for Ann Arbor, MI... (more)
The GLC OSTN runs southbound with 20 loads of grain from Henderson elevator. The train will stop at Cohoctah and pull some stored empty sand hoppers for CSX.
GLC 398, 397, and 390 run south at Prior Rd south of Durand, MI. GLC 390 and some non-revenue cars on the head end will be dropped in Byron before proceeding south to Osmer.
