UP #844 nears Cheyenne and the Frontier Days' Rodeo as it rounds the signature curve at Terry Ranch Road on the northbound journey.

With Ed Dickens at the throttle, 844 accelerates out of La Salle for the service stop just a few miles up the track at Greeley on the northbound run of the Frontier Days' special.

The Frontier Day's special rolls north on a beautiful morning behind the UP 844. It was certainly good to see this engine back on the mainline again.
