CSX train Q268 (Louisville, KY to Oak Island, NJ) is seen snaking South along the Hudson River approaching the Bear Mountain Bridge near Mine Dock Park at Fort Montgomery, NY.
After much chatter Q268 finally emerges snaking it's way around the base of Storm King Mountain with the town of New Windsor in the background as seen from the other side of the Hudson River.
CSX train Q268 heads for the River Sub with CITX 3068 in the lead. 3068 was built in September of 1970 as GTW 5929, before becoming GCFX 3068 and eventually what it is now.
Q268 brings auto racks south across the Iona Island trestle on a fine late summer morning, led by a smoky Dash 9 that hopefully got a tune up after reaching New Jersey.
