IAIS 152 & 502 leading a 90 car train Westward through Tiskilwa for Silvis. These guys were doing track speed through here and it was a sight to see and hear!

Screaming out of the Illinois River Valley, IAISs Peoria to Silvis train curves towards Tiskilwa with 99 cars. Two SD38-2s roaring uphill were music to the ears!

With the sun starting to swing to the west, Iowa Interstates Peoria to Silvis train cruises through Mineral with two newly reactivated SD38-2 locomotives up front.

After a long haul up IAIS’s Peoria Sub, the early 2000s consist of newly reactivated SD38-2s, and a GP38, pull to a stop to flag a crossing aside this elevator, in the tiny town of Putnam.

Fresh after a 2 year hiatus in a storage, two of the four Iowa Interstate SD38-2 locomotives, along with a GP38, crawl over the Illinois River in Peoria with a long cut of grain & manifest traffic... (more)
