Amtrak's California Zephyr climbs west from Denver in the Front Range near tunnels 14 and 15 east of Crescent, CO on the former Rio Grande Moffat Tunnel mainline.
AMTK 204 in the new livery leads the outbound California Zephyr Train from the city passing Fairview Ave in Downers Grove with two private cars bringing up the rear.

Heading east to go west, the California Zephyr leaves Rocky and heads toward Big 10 curve on the beginning of its Front Range climb out of Denver. The cut in the hill above is Clay siding.
