Intercity train Lisbon - Porto.
GE's galore! DXB 5097, resplendent in its Phase 1 Kiwi Rail paint sits among friends as it waits in the depot before being called to run 523 south later in the day.
It's been repainted and overhauled with new Caterpillar engine recently.
CP 2600 with the Intercity (Intercidades in Portuguese) 523 (Lisboa Santa Apolónia to Porto Campanhã) passing in Salreu, near Aveiro.
Its not brand new SD70's out of the factory, and the train isn't much, but two aging sisters look great as they rumble west in beautiful sunlight.
