Built in 1972 for the L&N Railroad, CSXT 2672 earns her keep leading a heavy loaded welded rail train thru historic Thurmond passing the former C&O coaling tower in the quiet town.
CSX 2672 (former L&N 6021 and SBD 6021) leads O750 out of the siding at SE Sutton after CSX O823 passed headed northbound.
Sadly only a single unit greeted us at what used to be a great B&O location. This one began its career on L&N and was later a Seaboard System unit.
