In some years, an additional loading point was established at the Sandaoling coal mine pit. On these temporary tracks, heavy machinery was used to speed up the loading process. See more of my pict... (more)
It was a beautiful morning.
A fully loaded coal train is climbing out of the mine pit on a hot summer day. The beautiful Tian Shan can be seen in the far distance.
2 ES44DCi and an ES44ACi break a 2 lull in rail activity as they head south, about 2km south of Pelican.
