A misty but freezing day is coming to an end, or more like the daylight of the shortest day of the year when Dr18 102 is seen climbing a small hill before a steep decline to Jyväskylä station

The bright blue of Fenniarail Dr18 102 makes a nice contrast with the yellow trees as it rolls south with a loaded pulp wood train to Kouvola

Cogwheel locomotive HGe 4/4 II 102, built 1986 by SLM/ABB and delivered to the former Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO), is pulling eight empty passenger cars to Andermatt.

It seems to be summer here in Finland. The sun is shining, sky is clear and the path is clear as well for this Fenniarail freight train bound to Kaipola.
