While I was waiting for the rotaries to show up the spreader came along and shoved snow onto the #2 track for the rotary to send over the bank.
I cross country skied west from the Soda Springs railroad crossing about 1/2 mile to get this shot.

Last train of the day before the sun was completely gone. I waited 3 hours in the cold & wind for this train to make it to Soda Springs, even with 5 mid train helpers he could only creep at 4-8MPH... (more)

Great scenery....filthy lead unit. Oh well...love that snow.
