One of my favorite spots to shoot the L&C is on their original line near where Williams Estate Road and Jenna Lane meet. Long trains snake up the line behind the power toward Memorial Park Road.
During the RailAmerica-era on the South Carolina Central Railroad, they rostered two former Grand Trunk Western units, one of which I caught in 2010 working the yard in Darlington County.
