A rare daylight Amtrak sighting in Vermilion, Ohio today, as the Lake Shore Limited was running almost 5 hours behind schedule.

An eastbound 26E rounds the curve at Joppa Road near Vermilion, OH. To the right, you can still see the old concrete New York Central milepost.

In the middle of a snow squall, the NS 206, ( after taking the Nickel Plate connection at Vermilion,) approaches the Vermilion River Bridge.
