In 1974 the Swiss Locomotive Works delivered No. 19 to the M&PP, a 2-unit diesel-pnumatic cog railcar. Here it is at the Manitou Springs depot ready to head up to the summit of Pike's Peak.
GE delivered this cog-rail "streamliner" to the M&PP in the 1940s, replacing the road's steam locomotives. No. 9 is now used in work train service (note the "potty flat" behind it).
