Southern SW7 on display at the Southeastern Railway Museum
Beautiful Southern SW7 was running at the museum today.
CRR 352 in downtown Kingsport
Probably the last coat of fresh paint - at least in SR - for this switcher. Her sister sits behind her looking a little dowdy. Pentax MX; Kodachrome
Little noted sublettering for the CRP on the SW7; Honeywell Pentax H1a; Agfachrome
CEIW 88 is former Conrail 8853, ex-PC 8853, nee-NYC 8853, built February 1950. Kodak ISO 200 print, Olympus OM-10, Tokina 28-70mm f3.5
All kinds of history in this one including PRR/PC and EL cars, that ex PRR SW-7,some "pointless arrow" amfleets, and a fairly new Amtrak F40.
The Erie/EL 429 was a New York Division engine, often found at the Ford Plant in Mahwah; here is teamed up with ex-DL&W C895 switching the Grand Union warehouse near Rutherford.
I believe this is Century Mine 102, located along CSX's Century Sub.
Still looking good then....
The sun peaks out briefly as it sets on this cloudy day to bring out the orange on this loco bound for Idaho.
