A mix of GE DC units, and a SD40-2 leaser are on their knees with 150 loads of grain. The engines are just cresting the summit at A cabin.
Westbound empties roll past A Cabin at the summit. Those familiar with the location will notice the old C&O signal structure has been removed. I fear one day A cabin will follow it.
Passing through thick fog, here at A-Cabin, coal empties trail westbound 459 on the ex-C&O Alleghany Grade at 02:55.
