Cascades 516, running about a half hour late, rolls along the south Puget Sound and Steilacoom, with a nice sunset and a crescent moonset in the background.

About to make a station stop at Edmonds.

Due to power issues, a cascade F59 was put on the point of #8. The conductor has just thrown the switches to head through the MNNR yard and into Midway station.

Under a very breezy, cold, but a beautiful Monday morning, Amtrak Cascades Train #513 makes their usual station stop at Edmonds.

Two things I was not expecting in Hastings today: 1) The Empire Builder, running 7 hours late, and 2) led by a Cascades F59!

Another fine morning at Sunset Avenue, overlooking Puget Sound. And another opportunity to admire a perfectly matched set of Amtrak's "slinkies."

Amtrak Cascades train 517, with substitute Superliner equipment, passes MVBTPAS as it approaches the south signal at Brownsville.

Amtrak 513 departs Edmonds and on it's way to Seattle. It was about a minute late.

Bellingham, WA to Seattle, WA train 513 gets underway a tad late after picking up it's passengers at South Belligham depot.
