UP 1586 pauses as another yard job shove back into the yard track next to it.

With a light rain falling, a crew working in the GATX Railroad facility pause to set the breaks on a string of cars that have been spotted in one of the shed tracks.

There was a lot of activity in the departure yard of Union Pacific's West Colton yard on a rainy night. A crew is working on BNSF 7703 to prepare it for departure to Barstow.

I stopped by Pepper Ave. after my class and found this old switcher working in the GATX Railroad facility.

UP 8149 sits on one of the yard tracks in the departure yard for the Union Pacific West Colton yard.
