A little switching in Biwabik on a Sunday morning after bringing a couple cars over from Keenan Yard. The R901 job will now head back light power to Keenan with more work to take care of.

Keenan Job R901 heads out down the CN Iron Range Sub for Dyno Nobel, a blasting company serving the mines of NE Minnesota, to switch out empties and loads.

The Keenan local is bringing a few more boxcars for temporary storage at Biwabik before continuing on to serve a local company with the trailing tank cars.

A short 1 car train heads to United Taconite to dump this car after it was set out and repairs were made to it. Once dumped, it will return to Keenan yard before being returned to the rest of the ... (more)

The R901 job out of Keenan yard slices through some early morning fog along the CN Minntac sub.

Departed Keenan yard at short time ago heading north with ex-DM&E hoppers loaded with clay in tow for the commercial yard at U.S. Steel Minntac.
