A UP Z train crosses over Apache Creek in San Antonio

Now UP but still in the old colors and mixed with a varied consist of other units.

The eastbound "Sunset" is departing with three "pooches" in the lead. They sounded magnificent.

One of the notoriously heavy gravel trains which delighted railfans is heading east in the big yard.

One of the units most unloved by its owners and crews, always first to go into storage or out on lease or so it seemed, they sure sounded good anyway.

This one stood out. It was clean! Does this classify as a special scheme these days?
