IAIS 152 & a Gevo leading their train from the TZPR in Peoria in the setting sun. This was my first of three chases I’d end up doing of the SD38s before they go put back into storage.

With the sun starting to swing to the west, Iowa Interstates Peoria to Silvis train cruises through Mineral with two newly reactivated SD38-2 locomotives up front.

The IAIS operated a special train to move CN 2191 from Chicago to NRE's Silvis, IL shop. CN 2191 was involved in a wreck at Slinger, WI and is being taken to NRE for evaluation.

Working its way West on the Iowa Intrastate for loading on an NS Island of trackage left over Wabash of the line to Des Moines Iowa.

NKP 765 cruises through Mineral on its way back to Rock Island.
