Living is UP territory. It's always brings excitement to me, when I am able to catch a BNSF train. I was able to give chase to this Provo to Stockton train in the late afternoon.

The LUE46 local Salt Lake to Tooele, Utah. Has it's work cut out for it on a Saturday morning at the Garfield yard. This is where UP interchanges with Kennecott Copper.

I really like the colors of the three lease companies together, that work for Railserve, on the Kennecott Copper. They are bring down a load of sulfuric acid down from the smelter.

A quick sucker hole of light, through the clouds allowed me to get a shot, before the clouds packed in again.

When your engineer is a fellow railfan. You get a musical performance on the horn, and a giant wave and smile. GMTX 2330 and RSSX 1633 head up the hill with a load of box cars.

Railserve GP7U 1337, and SSRX GP38-2 3670 are shoving a big train into Garfield yard. The cars will be picked up by Union Pacific.

I was able to catch another of the Railserve GP I had never caught leading. The Railserve paint job isn't the fanciest ever. But the paint on RSSX 1590 is fresh looking and clean.
