Finally Moving. After waiting awhile for a late running northbound Amtrak Floridian, L645 proceeds through The Ditch in Columbia with a yn2 leader.
Outbound. Led by one of the older GE units, the Floridian passes over Park Street as it heads north toward its next stop in Camden, SC.
Rarities. One of the once-ubiquitous NS Dash 9s leads the daily manifest 15R onto Sumter Street, this one even more unusual as one of the last surviving whiteface D9s.
Friendly Crew. The daily 15R approaches Pickens Street with a friendly conductor who is also a railfan.
Street Running with Foreign Visitors. The daily 15R arrives into Columbia with foreign power in the van--Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern in their pre-merger garb.
