| Double-decker Intercity push-pull trains operated by Deutsche Bahn with Bombardier class 147 locomotives run on the route between Zurich and Stuttgart via Schaffhausen-Singen-Horb. For maintenance at the DB depot in Basel Badischer Bahnhof, the trains are moved between Zurich and Basel SBB and vice versa as Interregio IR36. The Bombardier TRAXX P160 AC3 147 # 583 pulls the IR 1971 of the IR36 line from Basel to Zurich between Hornussen and Effingen on the Bözberg North ramp.
